One of the most well written fantasy novels by a first time author I have read. Wonderful story line that follows a typical fantasy role, yet it doesn't seem old or re-done. Harry Potter for adults.

What an excellent debut novel! I'm not usually one to read fantasy, especially in hardback from an unknown author, but this book was highly recommended to me. After I started reading, I couldn't put it down. I eagerly await more from this up and coming author! If he continues with this sort of great writing - he will be a star in his genre.

I would definately recommend this book to anyone who has any interest at all in any sort of reading. It was one of the best books I have ever read. I know a lot of people talk about books that they cannot put down, but this masterpiece is truely among those. Please, do yourself a favor and buy this book.
