Sanderson does a masterful job here of working with and fleshing out Jordan's final notes. The resolutions found within these pages have been a long time coming and are quite satisfying, as are, I must say, those plots left unresolved. In 908 pages there are inevitably a few points where language use may jar you and seem slightly inconsistent with the character or scene. I think that this is nearly impossible to avoid given a second author finishing the series. Yet Sanderson keeps a brisk pace as plot line after plot line and character after character receives their final scene. And then to get to the final chapter, knowing that they are strictly Jordan's own words... a fitting end to a beloved series. Well done. Your grand vision is at last complete, Mr. Jordan.

Can't wait for this book to come out! I am a huge fan of RJ's books and to a lesser extent Sandersons books. If u are worried that a new author will ruin the story, don't worry. The last 2 books brought life back into the series by speeding up the pace yet at the same time, providing all the detail that fans have come to know. They have been on par with the first six books in the series, and I can't wait to read RJ's final battle scenes that he wrote himself before he died. Tai'shar South Carolina, and may the last embrace of the mother welcome you home.

So excited for the final book! Love both authors and a huge fan of Sanderson's books. He writes great battle scenes, and has been very true to Jordon's style yet has made it seem fresh again.

by The New York Times on The Wheel of Time®,
"The battle scenes have the breathless urgency of firsthand experience, and the...evil laced into the forces of good, the dangers latent in any promised salvation, the sense of the unavoidable onslaught of unpredictable events bear the marks of American national experience during the last three decades, just as the experience of the First World War and its aftermath gave its imprint to J. R. R. Tolkien's work."
