About the Author

Sandra Ann Hornís first book for children, Tattybogle, was shortlisted for the 1995 Smarties Prize and the Kurt Maschler Award. She is the author of many other acclaimed picture books. She lives in England with her family. Jason Cockcroft is an exciting new illustrator. His first book for DK Ink, A Flag for Grandma, by Sally Grindley, was published in 1998. He lives and works in England.
