A quick brainy & condensed read that is more intriguing about the possible future politics of lunar colonization, than it is about grandiose sci-fi.

This was my first introduction to Greg Bear.

It's a rollercoaster ride that touches on a whole variety of hard sci-fi topics: What if we actually reach Absolute Zero? What happens if we get an independent society rolling on The Moon? What happens when we get genius-yet-self-aware computers with mental aberrations?

I thank Greg for this as the entry point into his rich array of work.
