It has been a few weeks since I finished The Social
Animal and I am still thinking about it. David Brooks did a marvelous job combining the fictional account of two families and studies about how people interact, the way they learn, the conditions that tend to make them successful and their relationships to each other. It was a compelling read. My 19 year old son enjoyed it as well.

This was amazing. This is a nonfiction book filled with statistics and psychological research studies and I cried at the end. I don't even know what to compare it to. I read 100 books last year and this was definitely in the top five.
