Have you ever wondered HOW much glucosamine to give your arthritic dog, if holistic Bach Flower, herbal or homepathic remedies have any effect on your dog's health issues or whether or not a vegetarian diet is a good or a bad idea for you dog or cat? Than this is the book to get pronto. A comprehensive guide to dog and cat health and well-being, you'll learn about everything from what and how much to actually feed your dog to how to treat anal gland impactions, whiny clinging foster dog, or a pet with cancer. The most worn out copy of any book I own on pet health care, it has saved me a boat load in vet bills.

One of the most comprehensive guides to many facets of holistic animal care and recommended by numerous veterinarians and animal nutritionists, this guide has been a standard for years. I use the section on nutrition and diets most frequently, as it contains numerous recipies for both normal and specialty diets for cats and dogs.
