There were many, many, spies in the Civil War. It was hard to trust anyone. Jessica James tells a story of a Union spy, Andrea Evans and a Southern Captain, Alex Hunter. Each had strong convictions concerning their views of the problems that faced our country in the era of the Civil War. The author keeps your attention moving her story through the Civil War in Virginia. By Ruth Thompson author of “Natchez Above The River” – A Family’s Survival In The Civil War and “The Bluegrass Dream” – A Wilderness Adventure of Early Settlers
