Publisher Comments:

If you have ever felt that you walked to the beat of a different drummer or that you just couldn't find your place in the world, follow "the boy" on this captivating adventure. Beset by fears and doubt and feeling as though there may not be a place for him in the flow of things, a boy decides to seek help from his neighborhood "psychiatrist" and gets more than he bargained for. Through the backdrop of a rhythmic and therapeutic dialogue, the boy and his psychiatrist embark on a journey of social critique, introspection, and poetic epiphany where the boy discovers "rhythm," the ultimate source of his strength and happiness. No matter what walk of life you call from, you will be challenged and moved by the boy's voyage. So grab your seatbelts and strap yourself in, because A Book of Rhythm is quite a ride.

Excellent. Though the admits that it was sparse on practical solutions, it helps readers develope a moral perception which is regarded as a first step toward engaging the challenges addressed.
