Love this book! and the next book, Sprinkles and Secrets! I can't wait for Frosting and Friendship! I'm sooo excited!X)I always fail on making my own homemade frosting so I hope that there will be some easy frosting recipes in the new book!

It's Raining Cupcakes by Lisa Schroeder is a book everyone should read! You will find friendship, feelings, family, and funny bits mixed into pages of mini life lessons. The recipe would not be complete without an ending that makes you want more--more cupcakes, more laughs and more to read. I loved the chapter titles and the real-life relationships that developed in each one. I bet you can't read it without craving a cupcake!

"Synopsis" by , Twelve-year-old Isabel is dying to get out of her small town of Willow, Oregon, and travel like her best friend, Sophie. But when Isabel’s mother decides to open up a cupcake shop across town, Isabel is once again stuck in Willow for the summer…until she learns of a baking contest where the finalists get an all-expenses paid trip to New York City to compete in the final bake-off. But Sophie is also entering the contest, and Isabel’s mother has reservations. Can Isabel finally realize her dreams of leaving Willow without hurting two of the most important people in her life?

In this sweet coming-of-age story from popular teen author Lisa Schroeder, Isabel discovers that life is not always about where you go—sometimes it’s about enjoying the view from where you are.

"Synopsis" by , Twelve-year-old Isabel is dying to get out of Oregon. She spends her free time in the library, reading and dreaming about faraway places. When her mom decides to open a cupcake shop in their little town of Willow, Isabel feels just like buttercream frosting to a cupcake-stuck. It seems as if it will be another disappointing summer, until Isabel learns of a baking contest. If she can come up with a winning recipe, she might have a chance of competing in the bake-off in New York City! But Isabel's best friend, Sophie, is also entering the contest, and things always seem to go Sophie's way. To make matters worse, Isabel and her mom don't exactly see eye-to-eye on the type of recipe Isabel should enter. In this sweet treat by popular teen author Lisa Schroeder, Isabel discovers that maybe it's not about where you go in life as much as it is about enjoying the view from wherever you are.
