This is the author's debut novel, and I believe it was self-published, so there are a few grammatical errors and slow areas, especially in the beginning. However, this is a very entertaining YA book. Yes, I say YA, because the main character is a teenager in love with a mysterious boy. This may sound like a boring novel, but give it time. There is shapeshifting, adventure, and lots of India in this first novel. If you are a fan of YA fantasies/romances, tigers, and/or shapeshifters, then this series is for you.

This book sits at the top shelf in my favorites collection and has been read multiple times. Along with the romance there is adventure and some suspense that has you wanting more. Set in the beautiful backdrop of India, Tiger's Curse introduces the reader to Kelsey, a simple normal girl who finds herself on an extraordinary adventure! You will not be sorry picking up this book. And the best part is that this is 1 of 4 books...with a 5th on the way (2014/2015 I believe).

The beginning was slow but dang there was a lot of action throughout the rest of the book! I was imagining what was happening as i read the book.
