This was disappointing. Usually I like Morrison's stuff, but I just could NOT get into this story. Parts of it had a lot of promise; I love the idea of a sort of second-rate superhero dealing with things like aspiring to membership in a superhero league. Overall, though, the stories collected here seemed kind of scattershot and lacking focus. It also didn't help that there was a lot of crossover things happening that weren't part of the collection, which made it hard to follow sometimes. I might check out other Animal Man comics if the library gets them, though.
