The post said to comment on the title, which is all I am able to do as I do not have this cookbook. My husband put a hold on my cookbook buying habit as I have run out of shelf space to store any more. One of his favorite cuisines is Indian (mine too). I have always wanted to attempt to prepare Indian food but without a cookbook or ingredients, have never taken the plunge. The title of this cookbook intrigues me with the use of the word "modern". Somehow it makes it sound like the recipes might be easier for someone not of Indian ethencity to prepare. Would love to know what someone thinks that has actually tried preparing recipes from this book.
