I really enjoyed this book because it took me by surprise. I had never heard of the author before, but the idea of a modern day career calligrapher was intriguing so I picked it up. What I really ended up enjoying was the witty and intelligent prose. The story is mostly about relationships. However the reason I recommend it is the serious twist at the end, which I didn't see coming at all and made the book for me.
