Not only was this the best book I read in 2012, but probably the past 5 years! I've never had a book absolutely change what I was doing so immediately. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has children.

So I read parenting books obsessively--I've read all sorts, different techniques and philosophies. This is by far the best one I've read. It doesn't offer any methods for better parenting but instead elucidates so many instinctual parenting practices while backing them with interesting scientific studies. I absolutely changed the way I parent for the better and would very highly recommend it!
