It is the end of human history. As predicted in the Bible, the world is suffering from seven years of disasters, and Hyper City is in the thick of it all. Nowhere else has the gap between rich and poor become so pronounced; so much so that the two inhabit completely different realms. Dwellers of the New Region lead luxurious and extravagant lives and wallow in sensual pleasures. They indulge themselves in the pursuit of wealth, power and all kinds of lusty sexual enjoyment. Dwellers of the Old Region, which has become a filthy slum and a red-light district of prostitution and vice, lead short and violent lives. But amidst the misery, hope arises, albeit in an unlikely persona. Ruhamah, a street-savvy and beautiful prostitute, is called to spread the word as an adorable missionary. As she takes to her new calling, the final battle for the souls of mankind looms. The Apostles and the Antichrists form up and a world-shaking doomsday legend commences.
