Read comfortably, day or night
Kobo Glo is the anytime eReader thanks to Kobo Glo's revolutionary ComfortLight, which illuminates the screen with a soft, adjustable glow so you can read any eBook any time of day under the perfect light — no lamp required. Because Kobo Glo's advanced high-res XGA Pearl E Ink screen doesn't use a glass overlay for its front light technology, there's never any glare, even in the brightest sunlight. And, with TypeGenius, you can create your own ideal reading experience by choosing from a selection of adjustable fonts — including a new, exclusive Kobo font designed by typography experts.

With Kobo, you always read freely
With Kobo, your eBooks are your eBooks, so you're free to read them as often as you'd like, wherever you'd like. Sync your eBooks across all your devices without losing your place thanks to Kobo Everywhere.

Shop one of the world's biggest eBookstores
With built-in Wi Fi, you get easy access to nearly 3 million eBooks right from your Kobo Glo, including bestsellers, indie gems, and nearly a million titles that are absolutely free. At Kobo, there's an eBook for every reader! Can't decide? Let Kobo Picks suggest just the right thing based on your preferences and feedback. it is my first e book reader ,so i do not know abt others one ,as first experience with kobo i can say it good one while reading in epub but problem arises when you have to read books in other formats
1 dictionary ,highlight, notes function do not work in other formats .
2 whole page do not fit screen as font style ,size ,line margin n spacing etc do not work .overall difficult to read page in pdf
but this problem can be overcome by converting other formats to e pub with free software like hamster ,calibre
it is good one e reader n value for money in-spite of some limitations

I am a very happy Kobo Glo user. The light is wonderful and more even than the NST Glow and the Paperwhite. I have had some issues with firmware but a quick visit to Mobileread forums pointed me to newer firmware and fixes. The touch screen took a while for me to get used to. If my finger lingered too long on the screen it would jump more than one page at the time. Library titles must be loaded onto your Glo via Adobe Digital Editions. One issue that stood out was that if a library title has expired and you try to load other library titles onto the KOBO, an Adobe Digital Editions message will appear saying that your books are not authorized and the books will not open. You have to remove all of the expired books BEFORE loading the new ones and should have no problems. Ebay has some wonderful, cheap cases for ereaders that will fit the KOBO Glo and Mini. I have read that Kobo customer service is not as good as Amazon Kindle but I have not had to contact Kobo at all so I really can't say this is a fact. I purchased my Glo from Powell's and you only have a one month window to return it to powell's...other than that you must contact Kobo for any technical issues. I have never felt the need to return the Kobo Glo or contact customer support. This glo was purchased to replace an Aztak EZ Reader Pro. I read for two hours a night.(insomnia) The battery last me for several weeks. It is a wonderful unit and if "new and improved" versions of lighted readers come out within the next year...I like this one so much that it would really take a LOT of "bling and new features" to get me to replace the Glo. I highly suggest that people who have any issues with your current ereader(Kobo or not)to head over to mobilread forums to seek help. Your problem may be easily fixed.

Winning any version of the Kobo would be wonderful as my dd is begging me to get her one. :-)
