I read the previous edition and it had some great tips and insights into the intricacies of shooting outdoors. This revised edition is even better! It incorporates the advantages of digital with the tried and true techniques of the old film camera ways. What really makes this book compelling is that the author Brenda Tharp includes a lot of exceptional photo examples and goes into detail about her thoughts and motivations in taking the shots. You can take her ideas and visual exercise suggestions as starting points for your own exploration. An exceptional read for any photographer who would like to know more about shooting good nature photos.
