Publisher Comments:

It all starts when Nick asks Norah to be his girlfriend for five minutes. He only needs five minutes to avoid his ex-girlfriend, who's just walked in to his band's show. With a new guy. And then, with one kiss, Nick and Norah are off on an adventure set against the backdrop of New York City--and smack in the middle of all the joy, anxiety, confusion, and excitement of a first date.

This he said/she said romance told by YA stars Rachel Cohn and David Levithan is a sexy, funny roller coaster of a story about one date over one very long night, with two teenagers, both recovering from broken hearts, who are just trying to figure out who they want to be--and where the next great band is playing.

Told in alternating chapters, teeming with music references, humor, angst, and endearing side characters, this is a love story you'll wish were your very own. Working together for the first time, Rachel Cohn and David Levithan have combined forces to create a book that is sure to grab readers of all ages and never let them go.

Synopsis:

Told in alternating chapters, this he said/she said romance is a sexy, funny roller coaster of a story about one date over one very long night with two teenagers who are just trying to figure out who they want to be.

Synopsis:

When Libby Kelting, a Jane Austen lover and all-around history nerd, scores a summer intership at a living history museum that turns out to be haunted, she quickly learns that ghosts are almost as complicated as boys, in this hilarious and sweetly romantic debut novel.

Synopsis:

Libby Kelting had always felt herself born out of time. No wonder the historical romance-reading, Jane Austen-adaptation-watching, all-around history nerd jumped at the chance to intern at Camden Harbor, Maines Oldest Living History Museum. But at Camden Harbor Libbys just plain out of place, no matter how cute she looks in a corset. Her cat-loving coworker wants her dead, the too-smart-for-his-own-good local reporter keeps pushing her buttons, her gorgeous sailor may be more shipwreck than dreamboat — plus Camden Harbors haunted. Over the course of one unforgettable summer, Libby learns that boys, like ghosts, arent always what they seem.

Synopsis:

Romance takes center stage in this rockin' love story from Susane Colasanti. Great for fans of Jenny Han and Sarah Dessen!

I love this book. It shows both the male and female leads view points going every other chapter per character. In this book you get to see how peoples actions and viewpoints can be perceived in contrast to what the person actually thinks and means. Wonderfully written and a funny read with great musical sprinklings. I highly recommend it!

Great, great book. I couldn't put it down. I had already seen the movie before I got the book...but the book is different enough that I could still enjoy suprises along the way but also enough like the movie (which I loved) that I felt like I was still reading the same characters only in a slightly different series of events.

This book is told from both Nick's and Norah's viewpoints, alternating every other chapter for each. So, you get to see how each one sees the other and how they interpret the others actions. Very funny and very witty. This book is a must read!
