Publisher Comments:

Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

This is the much-anticipated, astonishing conclusion to the worldwide bestselling Inheritance cycle.

The inheritance Cylcle is the best books that i have read, and i can not wait for the final installment. Even though i am sad to see it come to the end, i am excited to read the last book and find out what happens to Eragon and his brother also what happens to everybody else..

I like to read, June 28, 2011 (view all comments by I like to read)
All though I haven't yet read Inheritance I have read the excerpt. There is enough in the few sentences I read to make me want to read more. I have loved this series and while excited to read further about the lives of Eragon and the Varden I am sad to see it end. I will be eagerly waiting for this new book to hit the shelves.
