A simple and concise golf guide to better putting, by a renowned golf instructor and bestselling author of Zen Golf and Zen Putting

Every golfer knows that you “drive for show, and putt for dough.” And the success of books like Dave Stockton’s Unconscious Putting, Stan Utley’s The Art of Putting, and Dave Pelz’s Putting Bible proves that golfers of all handicaps yearn for advice on how to master golf’s game within the game. A highly-sought PGA and LPGA instructor, Dr. Joseph Parent has worked with top pros such as Christie Kerr, Vijay Singh, and David Toms to improve their putting technique. In Zen Putting, Parent approached the art of putting from a mental standpoint. In How to Make Every Putt, he shifts the focus to the physical game while still discussing the mental game and provides simple yet powerful putting tips for improving any golfer’s score.

Divided into seven sections (Attitude, Green Reading, Pace, Stroke, Putting Routine, Special Situations, and Mental Obstacles), this short, practical volume brings together Zen Putting’s physical instruction with new tips and fascinating anecdotes from his work with the pros. Readers will learn to master essential topics, including how to set your stance in relation to the ball path; how to deal with trouble shots; whether or not to use a belly putter; and the best techniques for putting with a hybrid or fairway metal from the green. With links to video footage from Parent’s instructional DVD “Putting with Confidence,” How to Make Every Putt is sure to become a staple in every golfer’s library.
