Publisher Comments:

Emily Bronte's dark romance, with an introduction from best-selling author Alice Hoffman

Heathcliff comes to the brooding mansion of Wuthering Heighths as an orphan child. Cathy is the daughter of the wealthy family that takes him in. They are drawn together from the moment they meet, their love consuming, destructive, and full of desire. They cannot be together, and yet they cannot stay apart. The consequences will haunt generations.

This is the chilling story of two people who experience love and all its intense complications. It is a story readers will never forget.

I do belive that wutherin heights is an ever ejubely written book .This is right simply because it enteils different visions .in fact one could unconciously experience cathaersis through living the characters' experience .Moreover the novel depicts the sexual experience of adolecence which is an important period in the freudian therory .however personelly speaking the novel reached this unscornful rank thanks to the way it is written. This is certainly true because of the suspense it creates before a malestone takes action.Ultimately i regard the book as a heighly organised and ever subtely written literary work with my complet respect to other works .
