Publisher Comments:

The second thrilling, chilling installment in Anthony Horowitz's bestselling Gatekeepers series.

Matt thought his troubles were over when he closed Raven's Gate . . . but in fact they were just beginning. His fate — and the fate of the world — is tied to four other kids across the globe. The second is a street kid in Peru. He and Matt have never met; they don't even speak the same language. But destiny is going to throw them together as the evil threat of the Old Ones grows . . . and another Gate suddenly comes into play.

Now in paperback. Matt thought his troubles were over when he closed Raven's Gate, but in fact they are just beginning in this second installment of the "New York Times" bestselling series by the creator of the Alex Rider saga.

This book is a perfect example of why Anthony Horowitz is such a credited author. It's a perfect balance of suspense and fantasy and real life (with historical facts to boot) tied together with just a dash of his signature horror that got him started in the first place. This book specifically plays off a bit of the mystery of the Aztecs (I believe that was it), and combined with the details he used in describing the setting only proved to be something that only Horowitz could manage. I would recommend this book to anyone from aged 13 and up (I feel that anyone younger wouldn't get a feel for the deeper meanings and the darker concepts of this book).

This was an amazing book, full of action, drama, and suspense. I felt like my hands were glued the the book, so I could never put it down. The other books in the series were just as good, and I am very excited with the fact that Anthony Horowitz wrote many other books (besides this series), that the world can read! I would not hesitate to read any other Anthony Horowitz books!

Amazingly written, i liked it as much as the first book. It was so exciteing and well thought out, i really liked how he used the desert and the shapes haha i forgot what there called. But it was just so amazing and realistic, because Anthony used things from real life, i recamend this series to all.
