NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

I used to be your average, everyday girl but all that changed one night in Dublin when I saw my first Fae, and got dragged into a world of deadly immortals and ancient secrets. . . .

In her fight to stay alive, MacKayla must find the Sinsar Dubh—a million-year-old book of the blackest magic imaginable, which holds the key to power over the worlds of both the Fae and Man. Pursued by assassins, surrounded by mysterious figures she knows she can’t trust, Mac finds herself torn between two deadly and powerful men: V’lane, the immortal Fae Prince, and Jericho Barrons, a man as irresistible as he is dangerous.

For centuries the shadowy realm of the Fae has coexisted with that of humans. Now the walls between the two are coming down, and Mac is the only thing that stands between them.

Synopsis:

This second novel in Moning's Fever series follows MacKayla Lane on a quest for an ancient book that could determined the fate of both Man and Fae.

I loved the sequel! In this one we get to see how Mac's character develops and she gets a few more pieces to the puzzle she was solving in book 1.
We get to meet a few new characters in this one including Dani, a fellow Sidhe seer and new friend to Mac. Mac's adventure continues in this thrilling next book.
This one makes the first one even better, a must read series!

In the second book of Ms. Moning's fever series, we find Mac right after book one ended.
Still on her journey to find her sister's killer, Mac is faced with more threats. This is my favorite of the fever series, full of new suspense and new characters.

Follow-up to Darkfever. This series keeps getting better and better. I love the tension and chemistry between the main characters, and the dark, paranormal world that exists right under our noses...
