I have been a quilter for some time, and while looking for new ideas (some of which are actually hundreds of years old!), I discovered pulled thread embroidery and that it can be used successfully to make my quilts unique and special. I found this book to be a wonderful source of beautiful stitches to fill in outline quilted shapes, as well as some I've adapted to use in a "crazy quilt" I am making as an heirloom to pass down to my daughter.
I would highly recommend Danish Pulled Thread Embroidery to anyone that enjoys needlework. The instructions and photographs make this book an excellent addition to your reference library (and a great gift for someone who loves to sew and make beautiful things the 'old fashioned' way.) If you love to make 'samplers', or if you're a quilter like me who is looking for something special to make your work stand out - you should own this book!
