Curious George Plumber's Helper (Curious George)by Marcy Goldberg Sacks
Synopses & Reviews
When Curious Georgeandrsquo;s new bath toys go down the drain, itandrsquo;s time to call the plumber. With some amazing tools (and Georgeandrsquo;s help), the toys are found and the pipes are cleared. When a second drain disaster occurs, George tries fixing it on his own, without the same success. Ultimately, George learns that the best way to keep the plumbing system working is to prevent clogs in the first place . . . and to invest in extra large (and extra fun) bath toys.
Georgeandrsquo;s latest adventure includes fun facts about how water gets to your house along with a coloring and tool-labeling activity.
About the Author
Hans Augusto Rey was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1898. As a child, he spent much of his free time in that cityand#39;s famous Hagenbeck Zoo drawing animals. After serving in the army during World War I, he married Margret Rey and they moved to Montmartre for four years. The manuscript for the first Curious George books was one of the few items the Reys carried with them on their bicycles when they escaped from Paris in 1940. Eventually, they made their way to the United States, and Curious George was published in 1941. Curious George has been published in numerous languages. And many, many Curious George books have followed.
