Honestly, I'm a big fan of Lynn Flewelling and all of her books.
"The Bone Doll's Twin" is the first book from her awesome Tamit Triada. This book isn't just very interesting and beautifully written. Characters are very realistic, their relationships and inner-world presented perfectly. It's really interesting to watch how the protagonist grows up and changes with the time.
The world is very detailed and well-created.
Also I must add, that unlike Flewelling's "Nightrunner" book series, Tamir Triada is more dark and serious.

This is one of my favorite books in this genre. It adds a couple of new spins to the hidden prince plot and the relationship with brother is compelling even as it is complicating.

This book is the first in a trilogy that really just blew me away. I had to race through each page neglecting things around the house and my family until I had finished! Wonderful!!!
