Publisher Comments:

Elizabeth Tudor's teenage years are hardly those of a fairy-tale princess. Her father has beheaded her mother; her jealous half-sister has her locked away in the Tower of London; and her only love has betrayed her in his own quest for the throne.
Told in the voice of the young Elizabeth and ending when she is crowned queen, this is the second novel in the exciting Young Royals series.

Synopsis:

Told in the voice of the young Elizabeth I and ending when she is crowned queen, this second novel in the "Young Royals" series explores the relationship between a girl who became one of England's most powerful monarchs and her half-sister, Mary Tudor, who tried everything to stop her.

'Beware, Princess Elizabeth' is a great book to read to learn about the life of Queen Elizabeth I and the trials she faced. The book is historically correct and gives us an insight to what it may have been like to live as a royal teen, daughter of Henry VIII and his second wife, Anne Boleyn. Through Elizabeth's eyes, in the format of a diary, we realise that being the daughter of a King isn't all it's hyped up to be.
