The best book of an amazing series, this one culminates all the best features or the "Vorko-verse". Miles at his best and worst, plus lots of time with old and new beloved characters; this one I love especially because it's set on Barrayar, instead of out in space. When I first read it I literally finished it, flipped it around, and started reading it again.
