I have given this as a baby shower gift for 20 years - ever since a very kind friend gave it to our first baby girl. Poems that can be read or sung to distressed babies over and over without inspiring parents to shoot themselves. Garth Williams illustrations that are as sweet as the work in "Stuart Little" and "Charlotte's Web".
