Book News Annotation:

This guide to creating applications that work seamlessly on the .NET environment includes the same information used by the manufacturer's product support services team. With illustrations and examples it covers the basics of Office inter-operability, Office Intertop techniques, integrated managed code, add-ins, smart tags, Office documents and data, isolated managed extensions, web services and remoting, visual studio tools for Office, smart documents and security. Each section includes a summary for quick review and lists of explanations of known issues. One very nice feature is a table listing Office version variations; another helpful table lists security permutations.
