About the Author

Michael McLaughlin is a former New York City restaurateur who has written or cowritten more than 20 cookbooks, including The Southwestern Grill, The Little Book of Big Sandwiches, Great Books for Cooks, and the widely acclaimed Silver Palate Cookbook. He has also contributed to such publications as Bon App?tit and Food & Wine and worked as a book-buying consultant, recipe developer, and product spokesman for a variety of clients. McLaughlin lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
