About the Author

Having lived in Oklahoma over half her life, Elaine Warner wears the tag "Okie" proudly.  She has twice been named "Outstanding Travel Writer" at the Oklahoma Governor's Conference on Tourism and is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers.  In pursuit of travel stories, she has flown in balloons, helicopters, seaplanes and gliders and eaten her way through a number of major American cities.
