About the Author

Lucy Cousins is one of today's most acclaimed young author-illustrators of children's books. "I draw by the heart," she says. "I think of what children would like by going back to my own childlike instincts." And what instincts! More than 300,000 copies of Maisy books have sold worldwide. Lucy Cousins lives in rural Hampshire, England, with her four children—ample inspiration for Maisy's future adventures.

I thought this book was very good as it introduces children to night time routine. I bought this for my cousin and she loved it and now reads it every night along with another book of choice. It is a good way to wind children down for bedtime as it doesn't encourage vigorous activity.
