Ravenloft has always been my favorite campaign world. It is rich with story, content and provides for versatile roleplay. I don't like the new versions of this world. The new books have replaced much of the story and content with game mechanics and numbers. This book is not immune to such demise. In my opinion WOTC, in general, has ruined D&D with so many numbers game rules that it disgusts me. They have taken their Magic The Gathering mentality and applied it to D&D which has pretty much ruined the game. D&D is not Magic The Gathering! It's really all too bad. I'll stick to my old Ravenloft books. Thanks.
