Chase is President of chase Research Gardens in California. A nationally recognized expert on diseases of ornamental plants, Dr. Chase has written five books and hundreds of journal articles. Daniel Gilrein is Extension Entomologist with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, N.Y.
