Synopsis:

Adobe Flash CS4 On Demand is built from the ground up for today's beginning-to-intermediate-level graphic designer. Like every book in the On Demand Series, this book teaches visually, using an easy, friendly, full-color format designed to show how, instead of telling how. But that's not all. This book: Combines step-by-step training with quick-reference material you can rely on long after you've mastered the core skills you need... Provides easy-to-follow task-based coverage, in which most tasks are only one or two pages Offers in-depth coverage of all ACE certification objectives, so you can use it as a study guide to enhance your job prospects or current careers... Provides additional end-of-chapter workshops and online resources for readers who like to learn through hands-on projects... Helps upgraders by presenting a detailed list of new features, indexed to the pages where these features are covered Adobe Flash CS4 On Demand offers tightly focused coverage of the techniques you will need most on a day-to-day basis. The new features covered here include: Vertical Property Inspector; Drawing and Spray Brush tools; Keyframe Editor; motion tweening; inverse kinematics, timeline, and runtime animation; the ActionScript 3.0 Library; Flex metadata; the Project Panel; XFL; and CoolType fonts. Simply put, no other book offers beginning-to-intermediate-level Flash users this much simplicity, usable content, flexibility, and value.
