Synopsis:Adobe Illustrator CS4 On Demand is built from the ground up for today's beginning-to-intermediate-level graphic designer. Like every book in the On Demand Series, this book teaches visually, using an easy, friendly, full-color format designed to "show how," instead of "telling how." But that's not all. This book: " Combines step-by-step training with quick-reference material you can rely on long after you've mastered the core skills you need... " Provides easy-to-follow task-based coverage, in which most tasks are only one or two pages " Offers in-depth coverage of all ACE certification objectives, so you can use it as a study guide to enhance your job prospects or current careers... " Provides additional end-of-chapter workshops and online resources for readers who like to learn through hands-on projects... " Helps upgraders by presenting a detailed list of new features, indexed pages where these features are covered Adobe Illustrator CS4 On Demand offers focused coverage of the Illustrator techniques you'll need most often. Thoroughly updated for Illustrator CS4, it covers document views, objects, colors, fills, strokes, gradients, points, paths, layers, type, graphics, effects, filters, drawing painting, symbols, automation, output, export, and more - even designing for portable devices and integrating with other Adobe software. No other book offers beginning-to-intermediate-level users this much simplicity, usable content, flexibility, and value.
