Eriko Sato received her Ph.D.degree in linguistic from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Asian and Asian Americanandlt;BRandgt;andlt;BRandgt;Studies.She is also the Executive Director of the Japan Center as well as the Foundingandlt;BRandgt;andlt;BRandgt;Director of the Pre-College Japanese Language Program at the State University of Newandlt;BRandgt;andlt;BRandgt;York at Stony Brook.She has written 2 other Japanese titles, namely andlt;iandgt;Japanese for Dummiesandlt;/iandgt; and andlt;iandgt;Japanese Phrases for Dummiesandlt;/iandgt;.
