Publisher Comments:

Rickis dad has never been there for her. Hes a bounty hunter who spends his time chasing parole evaders—also known as “skips”—all over the country. But now since Rickis mom ran off, Ricki finds herself an unwilling passenger in a front-row seat to her fathers dangerous lifestyle.

Rickis feelings get even more confused when her dad starts chasing seventeen-year-old Ian Burnham. She finds herself unavoidably attracted to the dark-eyed felon who seems eager to get acquainted. But Ricki thinks shes ever in control—the perfect manipulator. Little does she know that Ian isnt playing their game by her rules.

Synopsis:

Fifteen-year-old Rickis father is a bounty hunter, and ever since her mother walked out on the family, Ricki must accompany her dad on his jobs tracking down felons. When he picks up a good-looking but edgy bad-boy “skip” not much older than Ricki, she starts to fall for him and soon tries to help him escape from her fathers clutches. But Ricki underestimates her crush, and before she knows it, shes in way over her head. This felon has a manipulative mind of his own, and he knows just how to use Ricki to get what he wants.
