Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

"I believe butterflies are really fairies in disguise," says Kinsey to her cousin Sarah, as they spend the summer building fairy houses and fairy boats. Fascinated by the idea of caterpillars changing into butterflies, they raise their own. Many Monarchs migrate to Sarah's home town in California where the town celebrates their arrival every year with a Butterfly Parade. After releasing their butterflies, Kinsey and Sarah ponder the Monarch's amazing migration down the west coast of America. Will they arrive in time for the Butterfly Parade? Fairy Flight's vibrant, Enchanting illustrations reveal what the girls imagine. Perhaps fairies are the Monarchs secret?

Synopsis:

Raising butterflies from caterpillars, Sarah and Kinsey are certain there is magic in the air. Both ponder, How can the Monarchs can migrate so many miles without directions? and Will they reach their final destination in time for the Butterfly Parade?

What a better way to encourage a child's imagination about butterflies, fairies and the magic that surrounds them. Fairy houses are something the children can create by themselves for the fairies and continue the wonder of the story in real life.
