About the AuthorDavid W. Beskeen has authored or co-authored numerous computer books since 1992, including over 25 titles for Course Technology. Subjects that David has written on in his career include PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Windows, Livemotion, and other proprietary software packages. David also has some teaching and consulting experience in the computer technology field. Carol M. Cram is the author of over thirty-five textbooks on computer applications, business communications, and Internet-related subjects. Carol is also a long-time faculty member at Capilano College in North Vancouver, where she is currently the Convenor of the Executive Support Program, the Program Consultant for Business and Computers in Continuing Education, and an instructor of business and computer-related courses. Jennifer Duffy is a freelance writer who lives and works in New Hampshire. She has been writing for Course Technology for twelve years, including four editions of Microsoft Word Illustrated for the popular Office series. Jennifer has worked successfully in the business world as a writer, editor, and public relations liaison. She brings her business knowledge, Word expertise, and writing skills to this book. Lisa Friedrichsen is a Professor at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas where she teaches database and Web-related classes. As an author, Lisa has written several Access, Office, and Web-related textbooks. Lisa has developed many relational database systems in the fields of marketing, healthcare, and education. Lynn Wermers is a professor and the chair of the Computer Science Department at North Shore Community College in Massachusetts.
