When I was a teen, a portion of the Earthsea book was at the end of our lit book. I didn't know what the book was called at the time. I was not a reader then. I think on some level I was afraid of what I might learn. The tales of Ged hooked me and would not let me go. I've been an ardent fantasy reader ever since. You might say that Ged was my Harry Potter. Maybe one day I might write a tail of my own. It was only recently that I discovered this series anew and I'm greatful you carry it.
