About the Author
Gene McHugh is the first Kress Fellow in Interpretive Technology for the Whitney Museum of
American Art. His work focuses on research and exhibition interpretation for gallery and online audiences. Gene produces interpretive materials for the museum's exhibitions and collection displays, including video, audio guides, blog posts, and other web projects. He lives in New York City and recently juried the 2011 Paperworks show at the B.J. Spoke Gallery in Huntington, NY.
