About the Author
Born in Tokyo, Suzuko Koseki graduated from Bunka Fashion College. In 1978, she entered Chucks Patchwork School, where she studied with Chuck Nohara. She learned the pleasures of arranging colors and began making quilts. In 1985, she was one of fifty exhibitors at Quilt Japan. In 1990, she won a special award in the International Quilting Exhibit at the International Gardening and Greenery Exhibition in Osaka. Her works have also appeared in many other exhibitions. At present, she teaches in Japan at the Heart and Hands Patchwork School, as well as Asahi Cultural Center and the Vogue Quilt Institute.
