The Land Of Elyon #3: The Tenth City, is a riveting adventure, a novel filled with exciting twists and turns, with spellbinding consequences. This book is the last in the Land Of Elyon trilogy, in which the heroine, Alexa Daley has to defeat the evil Victor Grindall who is under the control of the menacing and sinister Abaddon,who has been imprisoned by the mysterious Elyon, creator of the world, as Alexa knows it. Alexa has to unlock the secrets of the long forgotten Lost City, in order to rescue her tiny man friend, Yipes who has been captured by the enemy. She overcomes many obstacles and in the end, with the help of her friends, Alexa prevails over the the evil Victor and his army of giants/ogres and she finally unravels the complex web of mysteries that has surrounded the Land of Elyon, for as long as she has known. I absolutely loved this book, it was a thrilling read, and has become dog-eared and worn through and through as I relive and re-read this enticing adventure, day after day.
