About the Author

Alexander McCall Smith has written more than fifty books, including the bestselling No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency mysteries, The Sunday Philosophy Club series, and many childrens stories, including the Akimbo, Harriet Bean, and the Max and Maddy series.
