GAME OF THORNS

Alice is an Outsider trying to find her way in a crazy new world. Julius is the Clockmaker, shunned by other role-holders and living like a hermit. Both have shut away their hearts behind walls of thorny vines. But when a meddling outside force turns those metaphorical thorns into something very real, both Alice and Julius must confront their own hearts and admit what they really feel. Otherwise, they could both remain trapped in the labyrinth of thorns forever!

Follow Alice, Ace, and Julius in this charming story set in the Country of Hearts, as they navigate their way through a maze like no other.

Synopsis:

Explore the stormy romance between Alice and the grim Clockmaker!

Unwillingly drawn into the Country of Hearts, Alice decides to make the Clocktower her home. However, the volatile relationship between Alice and Julius the Clockmaker does not make her stay easy. Just when she thinks shes had enough, other players who vie for Alices heart enter the picture: the dream demon Nightmare, and the dashing Ace of Hearts. Who will Alice choose?

This was another great addition to the Alice in the Country of Hearts series. I really enjoy getting to see different sides of the various characters. This volume focuses on the relationship between Alice and Julius as well as the friendship between both Ace & Julius as well as Ace & Alice. I look forward to reading more about these characters in the future.
