About the Author
Markus Mueller is Lecturer in Electrical Engineering within the Institute for Energy Systems in the School of Engineering and Electronics at the University of Edinborough, UK. He is currently working on the development of a permanent magnet machine topology suitable for both rotary and linear machinery.
Henk Polinder is Associate Professor of Electrical Machines and Drives at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. His main research interests are design aspects of electrical machines for renewable energy and mechatronic applications.
