Clancy strikes again. Jack Ryan Sr is President once again and Jack Jr. is still working with the Campus. Cyber warfare instigated by the Chinese. The introduction of new characters is great. I didn't get lost with all the characters. Our old friends John Clark, Dimingo Chavez, Sam Driscoll are back again. And the race is on to figure out where the cyber attacks on the US are coming from. Iran, Iraq, Russia or China? Intense.

"Publishers Weekly Review" by , "This highly readable if workmanlike techno thriller from bestseller Clancy and Greaney (Locked On) chronicles the epic struggle between the United States and a China bent on economic and geographic expansion. When China's President Wei Zhen Lin faces drastic economic problems, he becomes a pawn of Su Ke Qiang, chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, who begins to make aggressive moves in the South China Sea. Meanwhile, someone code-named Center is carrying out extremely sophisticated cyber-attacks against U.S. interests around the world. Various other high-stakes actions occur in Turkey, Russia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, and Washington, D.C. Fortunately, the Americans can count on U.S. president Jack Ryan, son Jack Jr., and ex — Navy Seal John Clark to combat the Chinese giant. Clancy fans will welcome all the high-tech data as well as heroes who can single-handedly take out whole teams of bad guys. Agents: Jennifer Rudolph Walsh and Tracy Fisher, William Morris Endeavor. "Synopsis" by ,
A North Korean ICBM crashes into the Sea of Japan. A veteran CIA officer is murdered in Ho Chi Minh City, and a package of forged documents goes missing. The pieces are there, but assembling the puzzle will cost Jack Ryan, Jr. and his fellow Campus agents precious time. Time they dont have.

The challenge facing President Jack Ryan is an old one with a terrifying new twist. The international stalemate with North Korea continues into its seventh decade.  A young, untested dictator is determined to prove his strength by breaking the deadlock. Like his father before him, he hangs his plans on the countrys nuclear ambitions. Until now, that program was impeded by a lack of resources. However, there has been a dramatic change in the nations economic fortune. A rich deposit of valuable minerals have been found in the Hermit Kingdom.  Coupled with their nuclear capabilities, the money from this find will make North Korea a dangerous force on the world stage.

Theres just one more step needed to complete this perfect plan…the elimination of the president of the United States.

One of Tom Clancy's most storied characters, Dominic Caruso, is the only one who can stop America's secrets from falling into enemy hands in this blockbuster new novel written by Clancy's longtime coauthor.

Over the course of three decades, Tom Clancy created a world alive with prescient action and remarkable individuals. In Tom Clancy Support and Defend, Dominic Caruso is presented with the deadliest challenge of his career.

Dominic Caruso. Nephew of President Jack Ryan.  FBI agent and operator for The Campus, a top secret intelligence agency that works off the books for the U.S. government.  Already scarred by the death of his brother, Caruso is devastated when he cant save a friend and his family from a terrorist attack

Ethan Ross was a mid-level staffer for the National Security Council. Now hes a wanted fugitive on the run with a microdrive that contains enough information to wreck American intelligence efforts around the world.  The CIA is desperate to get the drive back, but so are the Russians and various terrorist groups all of whom are closer to catching the fugitive. Only Caruso stands in their way, but can he succeed without the aid of his Campus colleagues?
