This supplement neatly deals with the issues of using large scale combat in a game that frequently focuses on only 4 players. Some of the prestige classes aren't particularly inspired, but what I actually came looking for from this book was delivered wonderfully. Their system of battle resolution is very flexible, but still allows the players to feel it isn't all just up to the whims of the DM
